An indelible impression

Mishpacha Magazine has an article about Dr.Yashar Hirshaut, a "top-notch oncologist."
I don't have access to the full article so I'm not sure if anything was written about the exemplary fashion in which he honored his mother. I was witness to his walking to shul in Lawrence with his aging mother. He carried a chair with him and every so often he would stop and set the chair on the ground so that his mother would be able to rest before continuing on her walk to the synagogue on Shabbat. The sight left an indelible impression on my mind and serves as a paradigm of how to fulfill the mitzvah of kibbud av va'em.
