At Maariv, Sunday, December 4th, in chutz la’aretz, we begin to say Vesein Tal Umatar during Shemonah Esrei in the bracha of Boreich Aleinu. Residents of Eretz Yisroel already began saying Vesein Tal Umatar on the 7th of Cheshvan.

What is the halacha for someone who was in Israel and began saying Vesein Tal Umatar and then went back to chutz la’aretz before December 4th?
