Shemini - Parah

Above is a screenshot of results I got when I googled about a woman who said she was slashed yesterday. The Daily News initially reported the story with the headline Muslim Woman, 20, slashed in the face and called 'terrorist' in lower Manhattan. It has now been changed to  Woman admits she lied about being slashed in face, called ‘terrorist’ in lower Manhattan. Notice, the inclusion of a religion when the person is the supposed victim of a hate crime and the omission of a religion in the headline when the person is no longer the victim. Was her story added to the hate crime statistics of a certain religion?

ABC initially had the headline Muslim woman slashed in face by man who called her a terrorist. It has now been updated to WOMAN WHO SAID SHE WAS SLASHED IN FACE MADE UP STORY.

Huffington Post, so far, hasn't updated the story.

A comment posted under the article reads, "This is so sad to hear. It fits right in with Trumps dangerous rhetoric. We need to stand together and resist the hate speach that encourages this type of behavior. Vote democrat, prevent this type of behavior."
Will the person who posted the comment change it to, "So sad to hear. This fits in with the lying rhetoric of some politicians. Vote republican, prevent this type of behavior."

What about the comment, "I really feel for these American Muslims who are law abiding, kind people, going about their daily lives that have to deal with this crap."
