In January, British actor Eddie Redmayne made headlines around the world as he became the latest in a growing band of smartphone refuseniks.

It is ironic that the person posing the question is concerned about safety in Paris when he should be more concerned about safety in England as a building collapse at a power station in Oxfordshire resulted in at least one fatality a number of hours ago.
