Chadrei Charedim reports on the British Ambassador to Israel, Matthew Gould,  meeting with Rav Povarsky and Rav Edelstein of Ponovez, as well as the Admor of Vizhnitz. When asked about his opinion on the current political situation, Rav Edelstein answered that our merit to the land is in the merit of those who learn Torah and the only guarantee for peace in Israel is Torah study and observance.  When the ambassador asked the Rav to expand on his words, he was given the directive to ask the Gadol Hador, Rav Aharon Leib Steinman.
